Professional Barnet deal for Johnson
Elliot Johnson has been given his first professional contract by Barnet.
The defender has progressed through The Bees centre of excellence and is now, as he told the official website, looking to become a key part of the first-team set-up: 'I'm glad to officially be part of the team, I'm really looking to push on and make some appearances for the first team.
'My main aim would be to break into the first team. I also want to learn as much as possible about being a pro footballer.
'Barnet is a great club with great fans and a great squad. I'm really looking forward to working hard and showing everyone what I can do.'
