Robson: Our overall performance was first class

Barnet "looked like a real team" as they secured another point, that probably should have been more, with a draw at Southend on Saturday afternoon.

Mark Robson praised this performance: 'I thought our overall performance was first class.

'We looked like a real team out there and, although we rode our luck on the odd occasion in the first half, we created enough chances ourselves to cause Southend as many problems as they caused us.'

Not only were The Bees two-nil up before being pegged back to a 2-2 draw they missed a glorious chance at the end.

This left Robson slightly "disappointed" but overall he was pleased with Jamal Lowe, despite that miss, and sides performance in general: 'Of course it's disappointing to have not won and Jamal Lowe had a great chance right at the end. But he was outstanding out there and he will go on to score more than he will miss and I have to be pleased by how we played.'
