'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Many Things To Give Encouragement

A potential League Two relegation rival Bristol Rovers might have beaten Barnet on Friday night but positives were taken.

Edgar Davids has labelled some of the play shown by The Bees in the 2-1 defeat "unbelievable" with his side worthy of a point: 'If we had taken a point I would have been very happy because at times some of our football was unbelievable.

'We played the ball out from the back and enjoyed some really good spells but the lesson we have to learn is that you need to concentrate for every one of the 90 minutes.'

Quite clearly results of late show Barnet are improving, and the manor of their football gives the Barnet boss "encouragement" too, that said he knows football is a "results based business" so is unhappy with that defeat: 'Football-wise we are definitely on the up and I see so many things to give me encouragement.

'But it is all about results and we have lost a game we should have taken something from so I cannot be happy.'
