Bees Relegated

Bees Relegated

Having won in dramatic circumstances in the final match at Underhill Barnet went into the season's final game with real hope of avoiding relegation back into Non-League.

Heartbreak was suffered at Sixfields though when they lost to Northampton.

AFC Wimbledon winning 2-1 and Barnet's 2-0 defeat at Northampton meant that The Bees slipped back into the bottom two and will play next season's first season at their new home out of the Football League, finally being unable to avoid defeat on the final day having done so many times in recent seasons.
