Weston In Team Of The Week (1/5/17)

Weston In Team Of The Week (1/5/17)

Barnet are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

The performance by Curtis Weston in the three one victory over Grimsby Town at the weekend at The Hive was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Weston was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.

'Barnet signed off their home campaign with a 3-1 triumph over Grimsby Town, with Weston helping himself to a goal and an assist. A deft flick set up David Tutonda to score his first Bees goal, before being on hand to convert a loose ball, wrapping up three points and silencing the Mariners` travelling Mariachi band!'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Weston for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the points.

Full Team:

Connor Ripley (Oldham Athletic), Derrick Williams (Blackburn Rovers), Aden Flint (Bristol City), David Wheater (Bolton Wanderers), Christian Burgess (Portsmouth), Jake Taylor (Exeter City), Shane Ferguson (Millwall), Craig Gardner (Birmingham City), Curtis Weston (Barnet), Nicky Adams (Carlisle United), Harvey Barnes (MK Dons).

Manager - Nathan Jones (Luton Town).
